Biography

My name is Michael William Sullivan, but please call me Sully. I'm a photographer who loves night photography, railroads, urban exploring and has found a new love for portrait photography. I live in the good old Garden State, and work for the railroad as a train conductor (which explains why I have so much railroad photography). I shoot primarily with Digital Sony/Minolta DSLR equipment but started out with FujiFilm digitals and still shoot 35mm on a Minolta SLR.

Colorful and bizzare photos from the interior of abandoned buildings are easily my favorite images to create. All natural light, layers of different color paints pealing from the walls, and the remains that fill the rooms as if the last time that building was occupied was the previous day. The quieter the location the better. I like to let my mind play tricks on me while I explore these abandoned ruins
