Biography

The paintings that appear on S L Baker’s canvases are a confluence of social, political and familial concern. She has exhibited at The Ellarslie Museum in Trenton, New Jersey and The Straube Art Center in Pennington. Baker is also a published poet and lyricist.

Born in Princeton, New Jersey, S L Baker is a life-long resident of the Trenton area and a recently retired NJ public school teacher. She has two adult children and two grandchildren. She lives in Lawrenceville, New Jersey with her husband, who is a professional musician and songwriter.
