Julia Martone
Biography
As a professional artist ( a member of the American Artists Professional League of New York-New Jersey), I am a graduate of the Newark School of Fine & Industrial Arts, The Fashion Institute of Technology , New York City, and the New York School of Visual Arts. I am also a member of the Art Students League in New York City.
Earlier this year I had a successful one woman show at the Williams Center in Rutherford, NJ. Then I exhibited at the Lena Di Gangi Gallery at Totowa, NJ. Currently, many of my paintings are in private collections in the United States and abroad.
This month I was asked to exhibit at the Salmagundi Club, 5th Ave of New York City. Presently my work is on exhibition at the Flyaway Gallery at the Meadowlands Environmental Center of Lyndhurst, NJ, that runs Oct 16 to Nov 20. Currently, I am exhibiting at the Christmas Show at the Ridgewood Art Institute of Ridgewood, NJ of which I am a lifetime member.
