Biography

Cm Eckenrode is a fine art photographer born in Lancaster, Pennsylvania that works in Philadelphia and lives in Southern New Jersey.

He works with a variety of cameras including digital, Polaroid Land Cameras, Holga and 4x5.
His work has a strong sense of space and maintains a heavy design aesthetic.

His current work is primarily a minimalist exploration of the mundane surroundings of everyday life.  Through the use of isolation as a subject and technique he attempts to arrange a complex world into a simpler context.

He has had several local group and solo shows since his graduation from The Art Institute of Philadelphia.
