Straube Center in the News


On October 19th, Straube Center of Pennington, NJ announced Susan Myers of Hopewell, NJ as winner of the “Name the Graphics” contest. Ms. Myers’ entries were selected by independent judges Richard Butterfoss, Executive Producer of BG&V Production, and Janet Purcell, Arts Writer for the Times of Trenton.

“We are very pleased with the interest in our inaugural art exhibit at Straube Center’s Permanent Art Gallery” said Win Straube, owner of Straube Center. “The very well attended opening reception featured works of Harry Naar, Roberta Deangelis, Susan Ewart, Robert Iola, Dave Simchock and Tina Tate as well as works from our own collection by Günter Johne and Charlotte Sommer-Landgraf.”

Straube Center’s next exhibition will have an opening reception Friday November 17th from 5 to 8 PM on the second floor of 100 Straube Center Boulevard featuring African inspired paintings, Guatemalan weavings, Nova Scotian folk art, South East Asian textiles, plus new photographs by David Simchock.

Mr. Simchock, currently traveling in Europe and Morocco, will be giving a Gallery Talk on his latest adventures upon his return Friday December 8th at 7:30 PM on the Second Floor of 100 Straube Center Boulevard.

The Exhibition will be open from Saturday November 18th through December 16th Saturdays 10 AM to 4 PM,  Sundays 1 PM to 4 PM and by appointment. For additional information, please call 609-737-1308.
